Statement
Drawing is central to my practice, forming a bridge to other related work in print, painting, photography, object making, and book works. Though I remain grounded in traditional drawing values, my work often explores further ways of expressing questions related to our changing physical worlds, landscape, time and memory.
Making visible the intangible is ever present in my work – trying to capture the essence of our environment. My interest in philosophy and poetry, phenomenology and perception informs the creative process, and scientific research has more recently contributed to new definitions within my work.
